Linda
Ruderman-Rosier, President and ownerof LRI, Inc. has created interior
designs for residential and commercial properties throughout the United
Statesfor over 20 years. Linda’s formal education was bolstered with
independent study courses in architecture and the history of furniture,
as well as lecture study toursaround the world. Lindahas traveled extensively forher business andown pleasure. Since
Linda's grandfather and father both workedin the textile industry, not
only was she surrounded by creativity but also learned what a beautiful
fabric wasand how it was made at a young age.
Linda firmly
believes that the journey a homeowner embarks upon with their Interior
Designer should be both enjoyable and educational. She uses her substantial background and extensive knowledge of interior design to ensure that this happens for the client. Linda
works very closely with her clients designing their interior spaces
toarticulate the clients own histories, passions, needs and desires.
Continuity, circulation, practicality, and suitability are constants
for the home that Linda brings to each and every project. Of paramount
importance is functionality for the home in today’s modern lifestyle. LRI creates spaces perfectly tailored for each individual project it undertakes, whether commercial or residential.
With
a strong expertise in Classical Interiors, Linda prides herself on her
attention to detail and ability to interpret Classical models for
today’s lifestyles. Her professional success is due to her seemingly
uncanny ability to make a design look as though it has alwaysbeen in
its environment.Linda’s depth of knowledge of antiques coupled with an
unparalled access to resources, have enabled her to undertake numerous
commissions to establish antique collections for clients. Equally
adept at both classic and contemporary design, her personal fondness
for English antiques prompts their use even in the most modern interior
spaces.
Over
the past 20 plus years, LRI has completed many significant projects
throughout the country including the landmarked Steinway Building, the
“Norbam Apartment” in the Sherry Netherland Hotel and the Kellogg
Mansion in New York City, a 15,000 sq. ft. home in Brookline, MA, a
4,500 sq. ft. ski-in ski-out home in Vail, CO, a Pacific Heights
apartment overlooking San Francisco Bay, a 10,000 sq. ft. home on the
ocean in Palm Beach, FL, a Gold Coast home once belonging to the
Vicks-Richardson family in Westport, CT, two landmarked castles’ as
well as a 20,000 sq. ft. home in Conyers Farms, and a 25,000 sq. ft.
new landmark Georgian home located in Greenwich, CT are a few examples
of Linda’s projects.

better facilitate the client’s needs. Using

has embraced Green Design. Sustainability and working with products
that are better for our environment are very important to the firm. Lindabelieves

future. After two years of research and the completion of their first
"Green House" project, LRI has added Green Design and Living to their
roster of residential and commercial projects.
